The experience and response from the public during the first year has been most encouraging. As it enters the second year, the Trustees appeal to the general community to support us in any of the following manners for which the Trustees will be deeply beholden and will solicit the unbounded grace of the Kanchi Mahaswami and Their Holiness The Sankaracharyas.


















Financially :

  Remembering the Dear Departed: Interest accruing from a fixed
     contribution of Rs.5000/- or its multiples is utilised for Trust's day to day      expenses.

  Donate for a Last Rite: A contribution of Rs.1500/- by an individual or a
     group is set apart to meet the expenses of a specific last rite. The date of
     utilisation will be acknowledged to the donor.

  Life Time Patrons: Donors contributing Rs. One Lakh and above are
     named as Patrons of the Trust. The contributions so received are utilised for
     the capital expenditure on Office, Hearse, Ambulance, Furniture and
     creation of facilities at crematoria.

     The Patrons would be annually sent a report on the activities of the Trust.

  Tax Benefits: Donations to the Trust are exempted from Income
     Tax under section 80G of the Income Tax Act.

  Method of Payment: Presently the Trust accepts donations only
     Cheque or D.D or directly can be transferred to our Bank account:
     "Anatha Pretha Kainkarya Trust", Canara Bank, T.Nagar Branch, Chennai.

     Arrangements are being made with our bankers to collect donations by

Volunteers :

  The Trust seeks like-minded volunteers to assist in the
     day to day activities.

  The volunteers will not be compensated monetarily.

  At a future date, the Trust shall assist in setting up of volunteer
     groups in other locations.

  The Trust welcomes volunteers to drive the vans for transportation
     of bodies.
